About Me

I’m not going to say too much, since this blog really isn’t about me. It’s about my thoughts on life, politics, and culture, yes, and I’ll be bringing up some things about my past, but it’s not really about me too much. I will say, though, that I’m a thirty-year-old male living on the cusp of the South and Midwest. I grew up Christian, but I’m more of an agnostic theist right now. That means that I believe God exists, but I’m not really sure that means. All I really know is that if we can’t love our neighbor as ourselves, then we can’t love the Creator who made that neighbor.

That’s really what this is all about. The Church has gone so far off from “love your neighbor” that it’s almost unrecognizable. There are so many factions and accusations between them, and so much anger and hatred for those outside “the Church” that it’s just generally hostile. That’s just my take on it.
